The Adult Probation department is governed by Erie County Courthouse in Pennsylvania. The department is responsible for the paroling and supervision of probation, electronic monitoring and pretrial cases. It maintains collections bureau and community service units. The Adult Probation department offers treatment and recovery services for drug addicted offenders. The department administers the Community Oriented Probation Services program, which provides on-site supervision solutions in several housing authority sites. It also conducts a sexual offender program, as well as operates an electronic monitoring unit. The Adult Probation department maintains a field services unit that is a group of more than 15 agents and has a caseload of over 190 offenders.
