Bay Area Insurance Services, Inc., our new name since 1986, is a combination of agencies started back in the early 1940's. Shreve-Rinehart Agency and the Burton & Johnson Agency were well known in Erie, PA and North East, PA respectively. We specialize in providing low cost, quality insurance products for your home and auto, for contractors, farms, and businesses. We are able to maintain low prices by representing several quality insurance companies. SAFECO, The Travelers, Lincoln General, National Grange, Progressive, Bristol West, AIG, Leader, and American Independent are just a few of our companies. We are an independent agency, free to choose the insurance company that serves your needs best. We provide friendly, convenient, local service to northwestern Pennsylvania and western New York.
