Small town sillyness. The one and only thing keeping this so-called "journal" afloat, is the door to door soliciting for ad space from local businesses. You cant place an ad online, you cant find out any info on local news or events online. This is 2014, but in Ephrata and Soap Lake...more like 1980.

The Grant County Journal is excellent for the people of the City of Ephrata and it covers many events in Soap Lake as well. However there are a great number of people and events in other Grant County outlying regions and communities that aren't reported on to the same degree as the good folks of the Great City of Ephrata. I just wonder if they might prefer it to be renamed 'The Ephrata Journal.'
