I just stopped and ate at the taco cabana in Ennis, Texas. It was a bad experience. It was nothing like the taco cabana by my residence in fort worth like I expected. I stopped around 8:00PM on Thursday, June 7th. My order was not made as I ordered. But when I tried to go to the counter to get it corrected, there was no one there. The mployees were all sitting down together in a booth. Eventually I got his attention and he walked back over to the counter and corrected my order. Then I went to get some mango tea but the canister was empty. The canister was empty while five employees sat in a booth talking and laughing. So, again I got their attention and asked for mango tea. He went to the back and got me some. Them as I was eating, I noticed the employees going outside. All of the employees went outside!! They left the restaurant completely unmanned. Only customers were inside! There were 3 other customers besides my husband and myself. No one was watching the cash registers! Noone was assisting customers. All of the employees were outside talking in the parking lot. Two of them had headsets on. I guess they could take orders outside if need be! Eventually they came back in. When I asked for a refill of mango tea I was told that they were all out. I guess noone had time to refill the tea canister. This was a completely different experience than we have had at other Taco Cabanas. I am shocked and would like for the owners of this store to know that a group of irresponsible teenagers are ruining this business!
