Today my wife had a complaint about roasted chickens being under cooked in the leg and thighs.She was told that you cook chicken to 185 degrees but that when we bring it home we should reheat to 165 before eating. We don't eat the chicken hot - we have sandwiches or salad. THe guy in your roasting dept. didn;t address the problem and tried to put the resposibility on us, and he didn;t address the issue of where the temp. taken. The undercooking has happened previously but was corrected for awhile. We haven't had any problems and we do enjoy the chicken - the one we purchased today was OK. Slower cooking for a longer period would probably help. Our complaint is that your person didn't make sense and was giving us an arguement when we were trying to see if they could produce a roasted chicken that wasn't bloody in the leg area. We buy quit a bit from Costco and have a good relationship with your pharmacy and we intend to continue.
