GB International was founded in 1983 to provide design and manufacture of custom magnetic components with USA Engineering and Quality Assurance and Offshore Manufacturing. Beginning with a manufacturing joint venture in Seoul, Korea, in 1984, the company has grown to more than 500 employees in its joint venture manufacturing facilities in the Peoples Republic of China in addition to its professional staff of 50 employees in Endicott, N.Y. GB International is engaged in the design and manufacture of both standard and custom magnetic components. Capabilities include through hole, surface mount and planar magnetics with applications over a wide power range. GB International can assemble magnetics around standard core shapes and materials along with standard bobbins and headers. In addition, it also designs and molds custom headers and bobbins.
