General Info

Dr. Scheinberg, board certified by the American Board of Dermatology, is a co-founder of Dermatologist Medical Group of North County. After completing his medical training in New York, Dr. Scheinberg moved to San Diego in 1976. Dr. Scheinberg's areas of interest are varied and include Mohs micrographic surgery, sports-related skin disorders, immunologic diseases, and cosmetic dermatology. He is a Clinical Professor of Dermatology at the University of California, San Diego. Dr. Scheinberg has served as past president of the San Diego Society for Dermatologic Surgery. Hobbies are skiing, hiking in the mountains, running and tennis.
