It produces molybdenum disulfide, ammonium perrhenate, heptamolybdate, octamolybdate and dimolybdate, and calcined and sublimed pure molybdic oxides. Climax Molybdenum Company also offers sodium molybdate and rhenium pellets. The company provides constructional alloy steels for component parts in mining equipment, machine tools and trucks. In addition, it offers products for catalysts, lubricants, corrosion inhibitors, smoke suppressants and pigments. Climax Molybdenum Company is a subsidiary of Freeport-McMoRan Copper & Gold.
