Founded in 1966, Wilson Ihrig & Associates specializes in various aspects of acoustics and noise and vibration control. Based in Oakland, Calif., its areas of expertise includes rail/transit, highway, building isolation, structural vibration, architectural, industrial, environmental and construction, to name a few. The firm has completed more than 5,000 projects ranging from routine noise and vibration consulting to state-of-the-art engineering and architectural solutions. Wilson Ihrig & Associates serves clients throughout the United States and abroad. It is a member firm of the National Council of Acoustical Consultants (NCAC), American National Standards Institute (ANSI), New York Public Transit Association (NYPTA) and is a charter member of the American Public Transportation Association (APTA).
