  The installation included a Kohler cast iron undermount kitchen sink and a Moen brushed nickel faucet. A Milgard, Tuscany series, double sliding pass-through window was installed with and slate covered exterior serving shelf. The existing under-sink reverse osmosis water filtration was reinstalled. The drywall was repaired and touched up as necessary to complete the job.

  It may not have been obvious, but when we bid your job we evaluated our path of travel from the point of access to the area we are working. We protect all surfaces in the path of travel which often involves wood flooring, ceramic tile, limoneum, carpeting, etc., and/or a combination of all the above. We use specialize products to protect those flooring surfaces from damage during the entire project (pictures below). In the path of travel there are usually other rooms unaffected by the remodel such as bedrooms, living rooms, family rooms, etc.. We install temporary plastic containment walls in the path of travel whenever possible (pictures below). We install protective plastic barriers and/or tarps to cover adjacent furniture and doorways whenever necessary. We install zippered access points so you can get around you house when we are not working. Although no indoor construction project is completely dust free the use of high efficiency particulate air ( HEPA ) negative air filt ration systems will significantly reduce the migration of dusts and fine powders throughout your home.

• Insulation
  Dog Kennel - Rio Linda CA This family was having severe noise problems in one bedroom and the living room. A family room was converted into a kennel for breeding dachshunds. The noise traveled through the uninsulated walls and made the adjacent bedroom and living room unlivable. The solution was to install a special sound attenuation insulation made by Thermafiber. The walls were furred 1 1/2' and new studs installed with Green Gasket Sound Tape to decouple the sound transmission from hard surface to hard surface. One layer of 1/2' sheetrock was installed followed by a 2nd layer of 1/2' sheetrock with Green Glue in between. The Green Glue provides a rubber like layer between the two sheets of sheetrock which helps in sound deadening.
