There, he provided medical care for senior people with various medical problems. From 1978 to 2008, Dr. Gonzalez worked as Medical attending in the Emergency Department in Woodhull Hospital. He has been in private practice, in the neighborhood of Corona and Elmhurst, since 1986.

- NephrologyDr. Luz D. Ares is from Las Piedras, Puerto Rico. In 1977, she graduated Magna Cum Laude in bachelor in Chemistry and Biology from the University of Puerto Rico. She studied at Caribe Central University, School of Medicine, where she received her medical degree in 1981. From 1981 to 1984, Dr. Ares did her Medical Internship and Residency in Internal Medicine at The Brooklyn Hospital. From 1984 to 1986, she did her specialty in nephrology, a branch of internal medicine concerned with the function and diseases of the kidney s and urinary system at The Montefiore Hospital Medical Center in the Bronx, New York.
