      General Info

      I specialize in custom sewing and alterations with an emphasis on classic children's clothing. Alterations and repairs include but are not limited to formal and bridal wear and day wear. I can make that one-of-a-kind prom or bridal gown and veil. Additionally, I will make or alter bridesmaid' and mothers' dresses. Home decor includes curtains, slipcovers and pillows. I make Christmas tree skirts and table linens for all seasons. Zippers from a simple skirt to an extra long heavy-duty upholstery zipper can be replaced.

      I few days before Valentines day, I had to have a dress altered that my daughter wanted to wear to a party. I tried several local alterations businesses and none said they could help me. I saw Especially From Karens ad in the local paper and decided to give her a call. Much to my surprise and delight, she told me I could come over that night and she would see what she could do for me. She checked it out on my daughter and within a half an hour had the alterations done. It looked great on my daughter! Thanks Karen, you were a life saver! Believe me when I say I would highly recommend her work to anyone!! Jen K
