Established in 1910, Boy Scouts of America is one of the largest values-based youth development organizations in the United States. Located in Lexington, Ky., the organization provides a program for young people that builds character, trains them in the responsibilities of participating citizenship and develops personal fitness. Its direct service division offers scouting programs to citizens of the United States and their dependents living in other countries. Additionally, Boy Scouts of America surveys youth, volunteers as well as Cub Scout parents, from time to time, on various issues.
