Many women would like to have their pelvic exam with a provider who specializes in woman's care. This can allow an in-depth discussion of reproductive or menopausal issues which, for healthy women, are often their primary concerns. We can also order routine health screening tests such as mammograms, cholesterol checks, bone density testing, etc. Dr. McNulty has been practicing in Ellsworth for over 17 years. She grew up in the Philadelphia area, attending Bryn Mawr College prior to medical school at the Uniformed Services University. Dr. McNulty is Board Certified in OB/GYN since 1991 and is a Fellow Amrican College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.At About Women we accept most major insures including MaineCare and Medicare. No referral is needed for an annual exam. Many insurers also do not require a referral to evaluate GYN problems, but to be sure it is best to consult your insurance representative. Full payment or proof of insurance is expected at the time od service.
