I have had a problem on two occasions now with the pharmacist failing to fill perscriptions within a timely manner. This only occurs if a Dr. calls in your perscription. The pharmacist does not check the Dr. messages often so if you have the flu for example and you have seen a Dr. who has given you an antibiotic perscription that the Dr is calling in to East Ellijay CVS , the pharmacist is not going to check those messages until much later causing you not to have that medication until late into the evening or not until the next day. This very situation has happened to me twice recently as I have the flu and no antibiotics because CVS received my doctors call at 5:22pm listened to it at 7:15 at my request and still did not have it ready by closing at 10:00 pm. My suggestion for sick folks out there that need a medication urgently, have your doctor give you a hand written perscription, because the pharmacist may not realize how important that med is to your health.
