No one looks forward to getting a tooth extracted and I was no exception. I had a wisdom tooth that had partially erupted. I had another wisdom tooth extracted about 20 years ago under general anesthesia. Dr. Sherman explained my options based on the condition of the tooth. She was calm, reassuring and very thorough. We used nitrous oxcide. It went very well. Her receptionist was very helpful, very friendly. I have recommended Dr. Sherman to a friend who will need to have several wisdom teeth extracted. I am very pleased with my outcome.

Dr. Sherman has extracted the wisdom teeth of 3 of my 4 sons. This is a time full of anxiety for children, but Dr. Sherman and her staff were amazing at reassuring my children and putting them at ease. My sons were so happy with their whole experience that they insisted on writing Dr. Sherman thank you letters. The office is very professional and friendly and her experience is second to none. I would highly recommend this oral surgeon.
Because my 14-year-old daughter had a cold in the past week, Dr. Sherman did not give her the general anesthesia we had agreed upon to pull her four impacted wisdom teeth. She did not give us the option to reschedule the appointment. She said she would make my daughter comfortable using nitrous. She used some local anesthesia on the first three impacted wisdom teeth. The local anesthesia wore off during the fourth impacted tooth that was wrapped around her jaw bone. Early into the removal of the fourth tooth, the local wore off. My daughter complained of the pain, but Dr. Sherman ignored her, and instead turned up the music in the room so that I and the others in the waiting room couldn't hear my daughter's cries. Dr. Sherman explained to me later that she was behind (as our procedure took more than 2 hours and to give my daughter more pain meds would put her further behind.) She said it was a judgement call and Dr. Sherman opted to not treat my daughter with compassion for time sake
