Fun and affordable horse back riding near Atlanta!

My daughter was introduced to the joys of riding through the Ellenwood camp. Lynn and her family are wonderful, and the barn is idyllic (with chickens, a goat, and an enormous hog named Princess). My daughter is five and there are plenty of ponies for the smaller kids.



It was a long drive from North Atlanta, but totally worth it. My daughter truly enjoyed her experience and we will definitely return. She learned horse care, had riding lessons, and swam in the pool during the afternoon.



I also appreciated that Lynn has boots and helmets for kids to borrow. It definitely saved me some money!

This is the best horse summer camp you can pick. The atmosphere is fun and relaxed. There are plenty of things to do so everyone has a good time. Lynn is a very good teacher and the kids all love the horse.The camp counslers are very good as well.Believe me your fist camp session will not be your last. :)

The best low pressure, low key, fun place to learn how to care for a horse and how to ride BEFORE you commit to owning. You will be included in the "family" by Lynn, Dave, Leah, and Alex and their assorted horses, ponies, dogs, cats, and pig(??) From personal experience as a boarder and student.
