Former Assistant State's Attorney Over 25 Years Experience Felony & Misdemeanor Cases State & Federal Courts Criminal defense represents almost all of the firm's practice. Mr. Brown is committed to providing the best possible defense for all clients and believes the most effective way to accomplish this goal is to specialize in criminal law. The focus on criminal defense allows Mr. Brown to remain current on the ever changing criminal issues such as search and seizure, arrest, detention and Miranda related issues. Much of the practice involves narcotics including felony matters such as illegal importation, distribution, possession of CDS in a sufficient quantity that indicates intent to distribute, wiretaps and simple possession. Additionally, Mr. Brown represents many clients in alcohol related driving offenses such a Driving under the Influence and MVA related issues. The practice is not limited to those areas and Mr. Brown represents clients charged with every type of criminal and traffic offenses in the District and Circuit courts.
