General Info

Hello! My name is Melissa Knox and I am a Family Nurse Practitioner serving my community in Elko, NV. As an RN, I had many different experiences spanning from Skilled Nursing to Emergency Room care and everything in between. I believe this made me well rounded and able to address most needs a patient may have. I was very lucky to be able to complete clinical rotations at Northeastern Nevada Hospital as well as Morning Star Integrated Health Center. I completed 720 hours of clinicals that comprised of: Family Practice, Pediatrics, Women's Health, Geriatric Care, and Mental Health. I graduated from The University of Texas At Arlington, and was in West Texas for two years. I was born and raised in Lake Tahoe, and am a happy Elko resident who has been here for over two years and plan to stay here!
