About AngelaAs early as kindergarten, Angela knew she wanted to be a nurse. By high school, she had developed a passion for biology, anatomy, and physiology, and made the final decision to pursue a career in medicine the first in her family to do so.At Beacon, Angela gets the opportunity to serve a broad range of patient needs each day, serving as a primary point of care for many. I learned that listening to patients, and obtaining a good health history, are just as important as accurately interpreting test results, she says. With that in mind, she adds, I put my heart and soul into my patients, treating them as I would my own family.She chose Beacon because, she says, Beacon is well known for their integrity and compassion. My mother, who is dedicated to both herfamily and her career.What was your first job growing up? What do youremember about it? Bagging groceries at Martins. I mostremember working every weekend, and pushing carts inthe heat of summer and in snow during the winter.What is your favorite food? Movie? My favorite food ispopcorn. Favorite move is A League of Their Own.What were your best/worst subjects in school growingup? Best: math and science.
