- Dental CareCat & dog teeth cleaning is not just a cosmetic solution for whitening your pet's teeth and freshening their breath. It also plays a major role in preventing painful and possibly debilitating oral health problems. Brushing your pet's teeth every day may seem like over-attentive behavior, but it can significantly reduce plaque and tartar buildup. Furthermore, this habit can prevent conditions such as gingivitis and gum disease from ever developing. Dundee Animal Hospital offers complete, customized pet dental care programs to prevent future issues and treat existing ones. Our skilled veterinarians and technicians closely follow all AAHA guidelines when performing dental procedures and related services.
- VaccinationWhile we can't remove bacteria, parasites and pathogens from your pet's environment, we can keep your pet protected with cat & dog vaccinations. At Dundee Animal Hospital, we carry all of the vaccines your dog or cat will need to stay protected throughout their life. Furthermore, we can create a customized pet vaccination plan to suit their specific lifestyle. Once we have established a plan, we'll explain your pet's vaccination schedule. Many vaccines must be given annually to remain effective. In addition, puppies and kittens will need to receive a series of boosters to "boost" their immunity levels.
- Comprehensive ExaminationA physical exam may tell us that your pet is sick, but may not be able to tell us exactly what is ailing them. We also cannot obtain a comprehensive health profile without going more in depth. With our cutting-edge cat and dog imaging, diagnostics and veterinary experts, we can examine your pet internally using minimally-invasive technology*. Furthermore, this technology gives us faster, more accurate results that we can interpret to find the best diagnosis and therefore the best treatment.
- Parasites Treatment and ControlWe recommend fecal tests to check for intestinal parasites, which many puppies are born with. We will need to test them again following treatment, to ensure that they’re parasite-free.

- Spaying and NeuteringYou may have heard the words "spay and neuter your pets" many times before. While we have come a long way in veterinary medicine, pet overpopulation is still a major concern in some areas of the country. One of the fundamental steps we recommend for all of our clients is to have their pets spayed and neutered while they are still young.

- MicrochippingA cat or dog microchip is not a miniature GPS system, so it can’t track your pet’s movements and location. However, it does contain information that connects them to you. Each individual microchip contains a unique ID number, and when you register your pet’s microchip as directed, their chip can be scanned anytime for its ID number, which is then entered into a universal database to bring up your contact information. Animal hospitals, shelters, and some police stations have microchip scanners available to check for microchips in pets.
