I have to absolutely agree 100% about being a ripoff bank. I am also a loyal, on-time paying customer and had a home computer glitch which did not submit my on-line payment. They immediately nailed me a $35 late fee on my April statement and then charged me $252.16 of accrued finance charges(from a promo financing I had on the account) on my next month's statement, when I was told by 2 of their customer service reps that my promo was fine and to worry. They would not give me corporate phone#, but agreed to remove the $35 late fee(after 2 reps told me no), but WILL NOT credit back the $252.16 of finance charges. I just got laid off on 2/20/09, but they could care less. I will never open up another account or do business with this bank.

My rates are now at 29.99 %...my check got lost , I had been paying on time for years,,and never late...a check disappeared and they ( chase ) refused to work with me ...a long time paying, on time customer..So , Beware !!!! use any other bank but forget CHASE

this is the worse company I have ever dealt with..... I did not ask for them to take over WAMU and now they state they sent a statement and if you don't receive it that is not their problem they just raise your APR and charge a late fee... and on top of it they will not give out there corp phone # to reach someone. They want you to deal with the inadequate employees they have answering the phones...

Rip off bank! Even entered wrong phone number of a daycare. Refuse to help customers. Make sure you bank at Bank of America or Citigroup or ANYWHERE else!!! Just read the complaints. Call Jamie Diamond with any complaints!
