Based in Elgin, Ill., Channing Elementary School serves more than 600 students in kindergarten through grade six. The school employs over 40 staff personnel. The school s extracurricular activities include games days, science and social studies fairs, musical programs, chorus, talent shows and a homework club. The elementary school s students take part in an array of community projects and organizations, such as Kiwanis Terrific Kids Program, Aurora University, Canned Food Drive Community Crisis Center and Judson College. Channing Elementary School s curriculum includes reading, writing, math, science, social studies and physical education. The academic facility additionally offers lessons in art and music.
