ASTA Care Center of Elgin is a more than 100-bed, fully licensed, Medicare- and Medicaid-certified agency. It provides skilled, intermediate and respite care and rehabilitation and medical services to patients. It provides 24-hour skilled nursing care, and its nursing staff consists of registered and licensed practical nurses and certified nurse assistants. The staff provides residents assistance with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, personal hygiene, and ambulation and medication services. ASTA Care Center of Elgin also provides physical and occupational rehabilitation therapies and restorative programs. The center provides balanced meals and offers nutritional counseling services with the aid of registered dieticians. Additionally, it offers dental and podiatry services. It also operates Asta Adult Day Care Center that serves the physical, social and spiritual needs of adults and provides personalized care. The center is located in Elgin, Ill.
