Apostolic Christian Resthaven, a nonprofit corporation, is an assisted living and skilled nursing community in Elgin, Ill. It offers skilled nursing services, rehabilitation therapies, assistance with daily living needs, and treatment and interventions for various health disorders. The community provides assistance for patients with daily living needs, such as grooming, hygiene, bathing, dressing, toileting and eating. Apostolic Christian Resthaven offers various nursing services, such as routine screening and monitoring of medical, behavioral and nutritional issues; medication; behavioral management; restorative nursing; and diagnostic and podiatry services. It offers various recreational activities that include games, singings, exercises, parties, music, current events and pet therapy. In addition, the community provides church services for the residents.
