North Scott Junior High School is a public school that provides academic education and extracurricular programs to students in grades seven through eight. The school, located in Eldridge, Iowa, enrolls more than 450 students. The school s curriculum includes English, language arts, math, American history, science, social studies, and foreign languages with a choice in French and Spanish. It also provides courses in family and consumer science, industrial arts and geography. The school has a library and media center that provides a large collection of curriculum books, access to the Internet, and magazines and newspapers. Additionally, the school organizes various extracurricular activities, such as band, choir and dance. It also organizes parent-teacher conferences and offers physical education. North Scott Junior High School also offers various sports activities, including football, basketball, volleyball, cross country and tennis. The school is a part of the North Scott Community School District.
