I was hired through Source One Staffing to work for Quikrete. It was an ok job. It helped pay the bills. One problem I had was everyone spoke Spanish. About five employees out of 30 spoke English. We were basically communicating with hand gestures. The language barrier crippled the possibilities of possibly building relationships in the work place. The work could be easy or it could take a toll on your body. You leave work with a sore back, sore feet, beat hands, and honestly don't want to show up the next day to be there at 4:30 to 4:30. The level of work to be done could range from sweeping, all the way up to stacking 50lb - 80lb cement bags pallet after pallet. It is a very dusty/dirty facility. I had to wear a hood or head wrap. You are required to wear goggles and steel toe boots and they provide a face mask.
