Located in El Paso, Texas, Richardson Middle provides a variety of academic, cocurricular and extracurricular activities for students. It offers a student-centered, academic, interdisciplinary learning lab program for gifted students. Richardson Middle provides advanced classes and a range of special elective courses, such as foreign languages, forensics, chess, drama and math counts. Its academic curriculum includes art, computer applications, reading, science, technology, social studies, and health and physical education. The school also operates a guidance and counseling department for parents, students and teachers. It offers a variety of sports activities, such as volleyball, swimming, cheerleading, basketball, baseball and tennis. Located in El Paso, Texas, Richardson Middle is a part of the El Paso Independent School District, which is one of the largest districts in the Texas Education Agency's Region 19. With more than 62,000 students in over 88 campuses, the school district is also the seventh largest district in Texas and the 57th largest district in the United States.
