We are a JROTC program that likes to give back to the community from Horizon HS, we participated in a volunteer service learning project last year, although the shelter is not in all of great condition, but the need to help needs to be there. This year we have accepted the task to go out with the students and assist in whatever their needs are. The students had a great time by interacting with the dogs, birds, cats and other animals on site. It was truly a learning experience for them and the need to help animals was there as well. The staff at the time were great, they were friendly in all aspects and professional. The owners were also sharing information that was quite helpful to the students on how the program started. Good experience.

The lady manager was very rude. I had intentions to adopt a a dog but after I heard her saying some very rude comments I decided not to. She should be friendly to the costumers so they can take a dog home and rescue them because at the end that's the whole purpose of this shelter.

I live pretty far from this place, one visit and they suggested a great pup for my other dogs/family. I originally wanted a chihuahua but I left with a cute smooth fox terrier. Wished I lived closer to donate supplies or volunteer once in a while.

These kind people are so wonderful and care nothing, but for the best for the animals. Today our cat got loose while waiting to get his rabie shot. Two of their own people took the time to help us look for him. They have helped us with the shots of 5 animals already. They cost less then any other vet in all of El Paso. Any time we had a question or needed help with a stray-they were right there to help with anything. No place has ever cared as much for animals as they do. My family and extended family has used many different vet places in El Paso and none compare to their prices and concerns for the animals. Now all of my family uses them for their cat and dog needs. In this economy, we all need to save where we can. They are the BEST! and P.S. we found the cat.

I had a terrible experience at this pet adoption place. The director was very judmental and rude from the start.
