- Patients are seen in a friendly and supportive environment on time with no waiting. Appointments are scheduled for 30 minutes which allows sufficient time to discuss problems. The yearly Wellness Exam takes 1-2 hours to conduct and includes several different screening tests and special lab work evaluating lipids and cardiovascular inflammatory markers to address risk early in life and treat aggressively with life style modifications and pharmacological therapy.

My practice is different from other primary care practices because it revolves entirely around you - your health, your goals, your needs. We, my wife and I, have been with Dr. Bender since she began her practice in town, always great, but since becoming part of MDVIP we are sold forever. She is a straight shooter, always patient oriented and caring. Best thing we ever did is to have had the good sense to have continued on with her as our primary care physician. She really does have our care uppermost in her list of what to do today, and every day. And the updates we receive regularly from MDVIP are also top shelf.
I can't say enough good things about Dr. Bender! I was disappointed with the doc I found when I moved to El Paso and she was in our insurance plan so I decided to give her a try. The office staff is friendly and helpful, and Dr. Bender spent lots of time with me, listening to my history and not insisting on tests I didn't want. She is awesome!
