The finance manager was great and walked me through the paperwork and through the next 3 years of owning my car. He offered suggestions as far as trading in my new CR-V in the future and answered all of my questions regarding all the contracts and financing. Cole showed me all the features of my new car, set up my blue tooth and showed me how to work the audio system before I left. The GM called me this morning to thank me for my purchase and asked if I had any questions. Thank you
They offered me a two year free maintenance as a thank you for the purchase. I'm gonna say that it's a really pleasant experience for me :)
My experience with Tipton Honda was absolutely wonderful! I purchased a 2013 Civic and got a great deal, they also gave me a fair price for my trade in. Miguel was friendly, had a good sense of humor and was patient with me while we got the deal worked out.
It was the best car buying experience I've ever had. Everyone at Tipton Honda was fantastic to work with. Will definitely be back next year to buy my son's first car from them.
My family was in the market for a mini-van, and after much research and a few test drives, knew we wanted the Honda Odyssey. After a few visits to other Honda dealerships in the area, Tipton Honda actually seemed interested in my business. I ended up going through the Internet Sales department. I felt I got a fair price for the vehicle. I had negotiated some accessories into the deal that I needed installed at a later date. I just had those done, and everything was delivered as promised.
They were very nice to me and I felt like I got a good deal... Everyone was helpful, they were all great. I will be buying my next Honda here too. It is tough to buy a car, you always wonder if you were screwed or if you made a bad decision or should I have gone somewhere else...I really felt good about Tipton and my CRV is gorgeous, inside and out. I'm happy.
They were even nice enough to have their service department check out a minor mechanical issue on my other Honda while we signed paperwork. These guys went above and beyond and I'm more than happy with the overall experience we got at Tipton Honda. I would recommend this dealer to anyone looking at buying a new car in the future.

I leased a 2013 brand new Honda CR-V from Tipton Honda, and I had a great experience with Jiff and Joe, great guys to deal with, I was treated with respect and kindness. I was in and out in no time, even that they were busy with other customers. They gave me the deal that I wanted, and that I was very happy with it. They explained everything to me, about the car as far as operational matters. I came in yesterday, having had an AWFUL experience with two other dealerships. From the outset (because of the other dealers) I was on edge. My experience here couldn't have been more different. Steve and Daniel Cole were amazing, and we ended up talking about three different cars. They were very patient with me, and we worked through many sets of numbers. I got a fair price for my trade (a VERY old Accord.) We looked at several options, and in the end I walked out the door with the exact car I wanted at a price I was more than comfortable with.
I bought a new Civic in 1973 and a new 2006 CRV in 2005. For the CRV, I dealt with "EZ" the Internet guy (since then retired) and got a good price with absolutely no haste and game playing. I have had the CRV serviced there, only, and had absolutely great experiences! One major service they cleaned the entire engine compartment: looked like new! Almost every time they rinse off the exterior. Last week a headlight went out and they replaced both just for the cost of the bulb and the broken carrier (e.g no labor charge).
I started my search online, and immediately received a call and an email from the Tipton team. They didn't try and pressure me to come in, but offered me advice in my search and offered to assist if they could. Steve Le followed up a couple of days later, again, not pressuring me to buy, but asking if he could help.
All I can say is that EVERY TIME I have bought a car there, I was treated like royalty, I was given a screaming deal, I was walked through the process every step of the way and the entire team made me feel like I was the only customer there. If you're in the county and you're looking for a new Honda, go to these folks. They know their business, they give a fair (dare I say great) deal and they are right there, to follow through, every step of the way. Great job guys! I'll continue to buy my next Civics from you and I'll DEFINITELY recommend you to my friends and colleagues! Thank you for a fantastic experience... again! :-)
The next time I dropped by Tipton, to get an alarm installed on my new (AWESOME) 2013 Civic Coupe, sold to me by Paul, Barry came in and with his usual, positive and confident English manner, congratulated me on my new car and we talked a bit. I wouldn't be able to pinpoint which person there was the nicest, most knowledgeable or courteous, quite simply because they all were. This is the genuine and professional behavior and attitude I have come to appreciate and expect from the folks at Tipton.
Best car buying experience ever. If you are ready to buy a Honda then go see Johnny Hicks. He's real, down to earth, and friendly. I was able to buy the car I wanted at the price I wanted and be out of the dealership in less than two hours. The nice thing about Johnny was that he was consistent in making follow up phone calls with me but in a cordial and polite way. He wasn't manipulative or pushy as we have all experienced in the past with salesman in general.
I am totally STOKED with Tipton Honda. I went in there yesterday because for a couple years my right headlight on my '97 Del Sol was loose for some reason. I'd taken it to several body shops in the last couple years and guys would look at it and go "Geez, I don't know, can't really give you an estimate till we look at the thing apart...you could leave it here and...blah blah.." I went to Cush Honda (which I also like) and their excellent parts guy Vince recommended I try AutoWerks in Santee. Thank god a guy there (who couldn't give me a good estimate)suggested I try Tipton Honda!
I was helped to the financing department, where Truman, with a big ol' smile on his face, greeted me and helped me through all the paperwork, all the while explaining to me every piece of paper I was signing. Truman was capable, friendly, courteous and very diligent, making sure I was comfortable and happy with this rather large investment, answering all my questions (and there were quite a few) quickly, truthfully and knowledgably, giving me a sense that they really did care about me and my comfort, over all.
Bought my new 2013 Honda Civic from Tipton Honda and they were FABULOUS! They honored the price we agreed on online (the USAA pricing for military members) -- there were NO extra charges / hassles when I got there. Saved me a lot of headaches compared to other dealerships that try to charge you for extra "specials / fees". This was hands down the BEST car buying experience I've ever had and will definitely recommend this Honda Dealership to all my friends. I worked with Miguel Torres and he was just awesome - but then the ENTIRE staff was so friendly and welcoming. BUY YOUR NEW HONDA FROM HERE!! Trust me - you will never want to go to another dealer again, Tipton Honda has the best integrity I've seen compared to other Honda dealerships I've visited.
Tipton Hondon made the expeirence, not only EASY, but a lot of fun! He didn't argue with me when I told him what I wanted (although he was genuinely surprised when I told him I wanted a stick), he didn't try to upsell me and he didn't blow a bunch of smoke during the deal. Just plain ol' down-home service. He knew his business, he knew how to make the deal work for me, within my (scant) budget and he never tried to jerk me around. We found the car I wanted at another dealership, so he went there personally, after working out a dealer trade and picked it up for me.
