My son started the Little Gym last night for 2 1/2 to 3 year olds. When we arrived late they said we could attend the rest of the class (30 minutes left of a 45 minute class) and then get another free class to "get the full experience". The classes are reasonably priced, though not cheap by any means. My son loved the class, the running, exploring, kids, bubbles, rolling,... ect. The teacher was definetly nice and seemed to really love kids. I was a bit apprehensive because my child has not had alot of socializing with large groups of kids. He is watched by his family during the day and mainly sees kids at the park or parties. I was pleasently surprised with his behavior, he was engadged in the class and fit right in with the other children. The children have structure, but alot of it is at your childs pace. If your child would rather do something else and play on their own away from the lesson it's not a big deal to them. I never saw the teacher yell, get frustrated, or overwhelmed.
