I went here to purchase my first car. The salesmen were unprofessional and misinformed about the car, but I had already done my research and purchased the vehicle. I was told to come back the next day to do the trade and pick up the vehicle (after waiting 4 hours). The next day, The trade and the deal signing took 5 hours, because they didn't tell us what paperwork was needed to actually complete the sale. I had to return the next day, with additional requested paperwork. Over the course of the next couple of days, the salesman called and said I had to come in and sign additional paperwork. I came in and no one had record of me needing to sign any additional paperwork. Then the dealership starts calling saying our insurance was cancelled. The hound my cell phone and start calling my work. Of course the insurance was canceled it was on the trade! MOST INCOPETENT, WORST COSTOMER SERVICE EVER! Go somewhere else, at Doug's you will be treated lower then dirt!

BAD...been a sales trainer for years...these guys are awful. Saw a car on their Internet...Salesmen was helpful until we went inside...Turned into the car salesmen we love to HATE on TV...Said my offer was fair but countered w a higher price than what was on their Internet. They play games like good cop bad cop... they write offers down to "go show the manager"... 2 hours later we're within $500 dollars but "I'll have to fix the brakes & AC" (which passed their 32 point inspection). Then came another salesman followed by 2 managers... I left! Next morning they called to say they could work with my offer. I drove back but they didn't recognize me (funny) then had me wait 30 minutes so they "could convince the manager". Manager came out to sell me on the higher price AGAIN. Suggest they read Sell the Feeling, they stop talking about themselves and playing games w their costumers. *I went to Kar-Mart in Mt Vernon...made an offer on a used car in their lot...no games...done in an hour*

I bought a CX-7 at Doug's and was pleased with the professionalism and courtesy you would expect from a luxury car dealer. The took the time to bring the vehicle to my workplace and allowed me to take it home to show my wife. There was no pressure whatsoever throughout the entire process. The next day I called and let them know we wanted the CX-7 but my time was limited. They picked up the CX-7, took it back to the dealership and completed the cleaning and preparation for delivery. They prepared the paperwork ahead of time so my time with the finance person was very short. Then they delivered the vehicle inside the showroom and made the quick delivery a very efficient one getting me back to work in just over an hour. They treated me really well and when my wife took the vehicle back for the first oil change, she was made to feel like they knew exactly who she was and that she was the most important customer. Really a great bunch of people and they'll be my dealer for many years
bought a used Subaru here and the experience was terrible. They lied through their teeth from the very begging. They started out insisting the car was worth way more than it was, and trying to tell me it had items it did not (eg alloy wheels, etc). I suppose that is to be expected from a car salesmen, but these guys really went overboard. I finally got a reasonable price when I demanded to see the blue book value. We worked out financing, I and drove off. Turns out the financing guy was lying to me too. Two days later they called me to say I need to come back, there was a problem w/ paper work. When I returned the sales manager kept trying to push a different car on me. The whole thing was a bait and switch. I balked at that, they continued to give me trouble about the financing. This continued for a week. I finally ended up putting the car on my credit car just to get a way. Bottom line: don't even talk to them unless you know exactly what you want and are ready to pay cash
Bought a new Mazda 3 from them in June 2007. I had an exceptional experience with them. They are professional, kind, genuinely interested in making you a deal and making you happy. I'd say they went the extra mile. I had a more complicated dealer trade, and personal trade-in, so they really worked through things patiently with me, and most importantly, made it happen! I also found that compared to other Mazda area dealers, instead of 'talking' about customer service, these guys actually live it. Very refreshing. Thanks Doug's!
I have purchased 3 cars from them so far. A new Mazda, a used truck and a new Hyundai. Every experience has been a good one.
Went above and beyond staying after thier closing time to take car of an emergency repair
