Not even worth 1 star. We have used Herman's several times in the past and have been satisfied. Yesterday, we contracted with Herman's to replace a pressure tank. The bid was $1434.35. By the time the 2 employees left, our bill was over $3000. We had a pressure tank but it was NOT working and we had no water. They said they were very sorry but there was an electrical issue. The pump, pressure tank and water had all been working prior to any work done by Herman's. I called Herman's to complain about the additional charges. Of course, I got nowhere. An electrician came today to fix the problem. He said he didn't want to bad mouth another business, but if they had known what they were doing, they would have realized the problem long before they spent the additional $1685. I feel they took advantage of us and we will NEVER use Herman's again. Nor will I ever again refer a family member or friend to Herman's. In fact I will tell them to use ANYONE but Herman's.

I called Hermann's plumbing on a recommendation from our church. We used them once and we were very satisfied. However, just last week we found water in our hall closet and since it backed to the water heater closet we assumed it was the water heater. Two plumbers came out and after spending about 2 minutes said no not the water heate, slab leak. They spent a total of 22miutes looking outside and testing and said definitely a slab leak. So we called our insurance and after the leak decting Co. came out and spent about an hour to hour and a half said no it was the water heater. So now since our insurance has a 1000 deductible we are responsible for a $300 bill because two plumbers who were supposed to know what they were doing couldn't tell a faulty water heater form a slab leak. In all fairness they said they would refund the $104 for the service call ( haven't seen it show up on our credit card yet). But I do not recommend them.
