- Auto InsuranceA vehicle collision is never good news, but when it’s one of your business’ cars or trucks, the consequences are more complicated. Business auto insurance, also called commercial auto insurance, takes all the elements of normal auto coverage and adds on extra protection.
- Boat InsuranceGetting out on the water should be carefree, but owning and running a boat brings several financial risks. Watercraft insurance means you can stop worrying about those risks and get back to relaxing on your boat.
- Truck Insurance
- Home InsuranceAnother myth is that homeowners insurance automatically includes flood coverage. In reality, that is usually not the norm, and you should always assume you aren’t covered unless your homeowners policy specifically says otherwise.
- Life InsuranceSome employees may want coverage that goes beyond life insurance or workers’ compensation. They want to be covered in the event of an accident, on or off the job. We can provide that added financial protection.
- Health InsuranceNo one wants to think about getting cancer, having a heart attack, or suffering a stroke. Illnesses like these can be devastating for your employees and their families in many ways, not the least of which is financially. Even with health insurance, situations like these can leave someone owing tens of thousands of dollars in medical bills. Critical illness insurance can help.

- Dental InsuranceThe National Association of Dental Plans and the Centers for Disease Control have performed studies that show that employees with dental insurance plans have better attitudes and are less likely to suffer from depression, as well.

- Professional Liability InsuranceWhile you can get standalone workers’ compensation policies, you can also often buy workers’ comp coverage as an add-on to other policies. These include business owners policy (BOP), commercial general liability insurance, or professional liability insurance.
- Liability InsuranceGeneral liability insurance mainly covers bodily injury to people outside of your business and physical damage to their property. A few exceptions to this principle include data loss and reputation damage (for example, if one of your business’ staff members defames a client). It’s important to note that general liability coverage doesn’t apply to cases where you are sued for giving inadequate professional advice. Errors & omissions insurance (E&O) can help to protect your business from that specific type of risk.
- Travel InsuranceVarious types of travel insurance are available that may offer protection in case of lost baggage, trip cancellation or delays, or trip interruption. You may also want to consider policies that cover accidental death and dismemberment, as well as the repatriation of remains.
- Identity Theft Insurance
- Flood InsuranceFlood insurance is not included on most policies. Stand-alone flood policies are available through the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) or private markets—our agency has access to both. Every property is located in a flood zone, and we can assist you in determining which zone your home is in. Keep in mind that being in an X zone does not mean that your house will not experience a flood loss, only that your house is less likely to experience a flood loss as compared to a house in an AE or VE zone.
- Earthquake InsuranceThe Great Earthquake of 1886, magnitude 7.5 on the Richter scale, struck Charleston on August 31, 1886, and leveled a large part of the city. 2000 buildings were destroyed. Alas, insurance policies at the time did not provide earthquake insurance. The insurance agency again survived this natural disaster. (Earthquake insurance did become available until 1916, probably prompted by the 1906 San Francisco earthquake.)
