This was my first experience with acupuncture. My wife was curled up in pain from menstrual cramps. I could have given her Tylenol, but I don't like what those drugs do to the liver, so I took her to Dr. Wang. She is expensive, but worth it! I found her attentive, compassionate, knowledgeable, very adept in needle placement. She used a multi-faceted approach to pain management that combined acupuncture, magnetic field therapy and herbal medicine. Well, those are a lot of pretty words, but the bottom line is that my wife felt fine within fifteen minutes of commencing treatment, and had no further discomfort after that visit. It was a near miracle, and the first time in her life to feel that comfortable. Yes, it cost $100 dollars more than an aspirin, but solved the problem at its root. I'm going there again in four weeks (the fee for the next visit is less). If you are skeptical about acupuncture, a visit to Dr. Wang will cure you of doubt.
