He completed his residency in internal medicine/pediatrics and a fellowship in hematology oncology at Louisiana State University Health Science Center in New Orleans, Louisiana.

- Urinary Tract InfectionI would like to thank all the Nurses that have taken care of me whenever I have been hospitalized at DHR. I have been hospitalized due to UTI and other health issues and the RN and LVN Nurses have always been there for me to help me through my stay at DHR. I also would like to thank all the technicians who have to do X-rays on me, and they are very professional and courteous when they perform the X-rays on me. Overall, if I ever have to be hospitalized again in the future, I will want to be at DHR. Thank you again for being very courteous and professional on your jobs. Keep up the great work!!

- Multiple SclerosisDHR Health is proud to announce that it has been recognized by EKSO Bionics as a “Center of Excellence” for the EKSO NR. This makes DHR Health the only healthcare facility in Texas to hold the accreditation and only one of five nationwide. Representing rehabilitation technology/innovation, the EKSO NR is a wearable robotic exoskeleton that has been approved by the FDA to treat patients suffering from stroke and acquired brain injury, spinal cord injury up to C7, and multiple sclerosis. The device is designed to augment a patient’s strength as they stand and relearn to walk, helping them gain confidence and freedom on their road to physical recovery.

- PsychiatryOur adult psychiatry program provides diagnostic evaluation and treatment for adults for a range of acute psychiatric disorders, including drug and alcohol addiction, depression and anxiety, borderline personality disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), bipolar disorder and schizophrenia, eating disorders, and trauma-related mental illness. Our team conducts thorough assessments to help psychiatrists determine which treatments are the best fit for each individual. Assessment includes medical history, a physical, psychosocial behavior evaluation and more. Some of the treatments provided include crisis intervention, cognitive-behavioral therapy and detoxification.

- UltrasoundIn addition to the educational component, there will be free health screenings available during the event which will include a Fibro Scan, which is a specialized ultrasound technology that measures changes in a person's liver. A CBC (complete blood count) test will also be offered and assesses overall health and detects a wide range of conditions, including anemia, infection, and leukemia.

Tony took the extra steps to get me situated to get my exam done since I was unable to get it done at the center where he was at. - Computed TomographyCerebral arteriovenous malformations (AVM) are defects in the blood vessels near the brain or spinal cord. Symptoms may include headache, pain, seizures, or stroke. Cerebral AVMs can be identified using angiography, CT scans, or magnetic resonance angiography (MRA) and treated with minimally invasive surgery.
- ChemotherapyIt’s so important that patients focus on their health during the day-to-day journey with cancer. That’s what we have in mind when we offer funding for chemotherapy treatment, medicine, surgery, imaging studies, house and utility bills, transportation, lodging, nutritional supplements and hair loss items. A cancer patient with limited savings and health insurance shouldn’t have to struggle.
- Radiation TherapyMany patients that have undergone chemotherapy report changes in their thinking abilities. Studies have shown that some cancer patients exhibit impairments in their cognitive functioning. This includes impairments with their ability to process information in a timely manner, problem-solving, multi-tasking, and memory. Several factors may increase the risk for these impairments such as route of administration or exposure to higher doses of chemotherapy. Brain tumors and their associated treatments may also cause impairments in cognitive functioning. This includes surgical treatments, radiation therapy, or concurrent chemotherapy and radiation treatment.
