This doctor has forgotten that he took an oath to care for patients and not humiliate them. A patient expects and deserves the respect to be treated fairly no matter how significant or insignificant in the doctor's eyes the illness may be. He forgets that even though he sees terrible illnesses day in and day out - for each INDIVIDUAL patient, their case is unique to them and should be treated as such. This is where he forgets that we are human beings - that we are feeling pain and when we are finally granted the privilege of being seen we are dismissed because in his eyes after seeing so many patients, in his broad spectrum of illness our little ailments are nothing more than a nuisance.Doctors need to think of their patients as they would their mothers, daughters, or wives and may be then - they would be a little more mindful of the way they treat their patients. To call a patient obsessive - When the patient has not been examined only handed a prescription and the patient has not been fully heard - is not only INSULTING it is HUMILIATING. Then to be told that she should be grateful that she was seen so quickly for such an insignificant ailment is adding insult to injury. This doctor at such a young age doesn't understand the meaning of compassion. Unfortunately, his arrogance and lack of bedside manner completely eliminates the knowledge he may have in his specialty.Signed,A HUMILIATED PATIENT!!!!!!!!!
