- Manual TherapyKara Hamilton, DPT, MTC Dr. Kara Hamilton, DPT, MTC earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of St Augustine for Health Sciences while also completing the coursework for her Manual Therapy Certification. Kara, a native of Maryland, received her undergraduate degree in Exercise Science from Towson University. She has been in practice since 2002 specializing in outpatient orthopedics with an emphasis on manual therapy. She believes in the power of a listening ear in order to get to the root of a patient’s dysfunction. Her special interests include women’s health and post-mastectomy care. Since its inception in 2014, Kara has taken her experience as a breast cancer survivor to provide support and guidance for others facing a breast cancer diagnosis through her non-profit ministry, Pinked Perspective. When she is not working as a PT or directing her non-profit, Kara fills her time around her love for family, writing and the beach.
