Phillips & Temro Industries designs and manufactures products in several major categories. These categories include cold start and emission control; engine preheating and intake air-heating systems; long haul convenience and comfort; and cab power systems. Its products are designed to preheat the engine intake air prior to its entry into the combustion chamber. Intake air heaters provide improved combustion during cold start and initial engine warm-up. This ensures smoother and quicker start-to-idle operation and reduces the white smoke emissions that result from unburned fuel. Designed in accordance with North American and European electrical standards, pre-heater systems are available in a range of voltages and wattages to satisfy all starting and emission control needs.
