Every day is a new opportunity to treat ourselves, and others, better. My love of science and people were the driving reasons I entered medicine – medicine gave me the chance to bring both things I loved into one career. I enjoy the journey of problem-solving and utilizing the wide variety of tools available in medicine that can resolve a patient’s problem, or at least help them manage a condition. I am your wellness navigator, providing guidance as we make the right decisions for you personally and together as a care team. I like to challenge patients to identifyone attainable goal or change that they can accomplish this week in an effort to live the lifethey wish to live. It is so important to carve "me time" out of your schedule for self care, whether it be for exercise,hobbies, or some other form of stress relief. So often, ifthis "appointment" is not reserved, another task willoccupy this intended time. I am active with my church, St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church. I enjoy spending time with my husband and two daughters. I also enjoy running, movies, international cuisine, skiing, and my dogs.
