I don’t ever write reviews but PLEASE SAVE YOUR MONEY AND TIME AND DINE ELSEWHERE!!! REFER TO PICTURE TO SUM UP THIS EXPERIENCE!! We saw the lovely pictures of sushi and Korean dishes and we were convinced that this place was going to be a great Korean BBQ place in the northeast PA area! We got there and it looked like a outdated diner with a “side dish bar” with 6 sides , and they looked like they were sitting there for a while, as well as the lukewarm sides there were supposed to be “hot”. “A” for effort, if it was maintained to have fresh sides this would be a great addition to the experience! Staff overall was negotiable, however my husband and I got food posioning from their cabbage! They mistakingly gave us , and I quote, “Garbage Lettuce” for our Korean BBQ experience. There was mold growth on multiple slices of our cabbage. They supposedly mixed the bad and the good lettuce they slice up and are SUPPOSED to separate and we managed to eat one before I noticed white fuzziness on the cabbage which more than likely caused our sickness. I mentioned it to the manager on shift and she was not very understanding or helpful in making us feel any better that we just consumed this rancid piece. On top of that, the manager was our waitress who handed us the basket of , what she quoted, was “garbage lettuce!” We paid in full, after a fit of rage that caused us to storm out of the restaurant. If you want quality Koren BBQ, please just go to nyc!!

It was awesome. I had the stone vegetable dish with pork as well as the hot wings. I was very impressed.

I have eaten a lot of Korean food and Shushi.

Generally, this is top grade taste. Moreover their consideration of healthiness is extra points. My recommendation is BBQ with warp(Lettuces) and Hot Stone Pot Bibim Bab(with a lot of vegetable and meats). Both seems healthy and delicious!

“Every chef has a different ideal temperature for sushi rice, but body temperature is best. That’s common sense in Japan, too. But places like Sasabune serve rice much warmer. Technically the health department requires rice to be 41 degrees"

Don't listen to that uncultured cretin (Richard M.). This place is pretty legit with its authenticity.

Korean sushi (kimbop) is supposed to be warm...

Amazing! All the signature Korean dishes. Go in with an open mind. Still looks like a diner inside but the atmosphere didn't bother me. We are so lucky to finally have Korean food in the lehigh valley.

The WORST

I am reluctant to even give it One (1)star....

Why:

- We ordered two (2) rolls and they were room warm temperature. The sushi chef told us this is how it is supposed to be served (not making this up).

- We ordered the "Korean BBQ" (She was told to try it since you.can get chicken Teriyaki anywhere/ waiter's exact words). Told to go to the "Salad Bar" for the BBQ sides.Everything was gone and told there was none left. Asked management about this since we ordered the bbq and had a smaller plate brought out. Among the tastless sides was potato salad which was also room temperature warm.

- The "authentic" Korean BBQ was minute steak and a rib eye steak that would be served in a dinner ( was given a steak knife and fork). No seasoning on the steak or bbq sauce. Was told to dip it in sesame oil which had sea salt in it.

I paid $46.00 for this hot mess.... STAY AWAY !!!!!

They are amazing!!! The flavor and presentation of the food is also very good! The menu is large with plenty of choices and not too expensive. You can get to go or stay to eat which is very convienent. You should absolutely try this place. I promise you will not be disappointed! :D
