McCain Foods USA acquired the Easton, Maine plant in 1976. It is one of the largest frozen potato operations on the east coast. The company s product specialties include french fries, tatter tots, patties, hash browns, curly fries and waffle fries. McCain Foods is one of the world s largest manufacturers of frozen potato and appetizer products. The United States headquarters are outside of Chicago, in Lisle, Ill. There are nearly 10 manufacturing facilities throughout the U.S.
