I trust everyone at Community. The front staff are friendly and really care about me and my pets. They are like family. The Vets are excellent and will listen to our concerns, and work with us to help keep our pets healthy and us within our budget. The assistants are helpful and are great with our dog and cat. I wish my own doctors office was this great.

My husband and I train retrievers for a living. We train 24 dogs and demand the best veterinary care possible. We live in three place, VT. MD. and FL. and overwhelmingly our vet care in MD. at the Community Animal Hosp. is superior. They are smart, common sense and have a state of the art facility. No matter where we are I wish we were in MD. !

My family and I have always been extremely pleased with Community Animal Hospital. The doctors are kind and empathetic to both owners and pets. We have been going to CAH for over ten years now with five different dogs. They have always answered my questions with concern and honesty. I feel I can ask them anything. We have always been seen for appointments in a timely fashion and they have been caring and effective in emergency situations. I would not consider going anywhere else.

As a lifelong animal partner I've been to many vets. I'm pleasantly amazed I can still be surprised. You know how it feels when you walk into a place and you just feel welcome? That's the feeling I have every time I walk into CAH. The waiting area is filled with light, the front line staff are kind, friendly and patient and the vet techs- same- and so good with my dog who can be a bit shy. I mostly see Dr. Donna, but in an emergency I've seen just about every vet there and all have been great, Explaining everything I needed to know to make informed decisions about my aging dog. My dog needed some tricky surgery in a very sensitive area a few months back. Not only did they do everything to keep the costs in check, but I felt completely confident leaving my 12+ year old there. And they did a beautiful job! She healed quickly and completely with no complications. Long story short- I feel like they care about my pet nearly as much as I do. They explain everything and do a wonderful job without making a big deal out of things. And it's a warm and welcoming place- couldn't ask for more!

We chose to try Community Animal Hospital 14 years ago after a particularly horrendous experience with another local vet. Best decision ever! Exceptional veterinary care. The emergency on-call service is true to it's word. The vets and vet technicians have been more than willing to answer to our needs early in the morning, late in the evening and even on holidays. The staff takes the time to get to know you and your pets, reducing the stress that sometimes can accompany visits to the vet. We honestly believe our dogs would not (still) be with us if we did not choose Community Animal Hospital so many years ago.

All of the doctors and staff were so calm and reassuring to us when our cat was ill. Words cannot begin to express our appreciation for her care. She is recovering rapidly, and we are overjoyed that she was able to be home in time for Christmas with us.

We feel blessed to have such wonderful vets, techs and receptionists caring for us and all of pups over the years. Everyone at Community Animal Hospital has their own special touch of love and kindness, and we greatly appreciate them all.

When I moved to the Eastern shore from the Annapolis area eight years ago, I will admit, I was afraid it might be difficult to find a veterinarian that could provide the level of care for my pets I'd grown accustomed to. They have saved several of my dogs' lives with early diagnosis and effective treatment of medical problems, and by going above and beyond the call of duty by providing after-hours care for my dogs. I happily drive half an hour out of my way to take my pups here; they are absolutely worth the trip. I've been around dogs all of my life.... and have learned that there is a very wide chasm when dealing with the knowledge / skill of different veterinarians/offices. I find it definitely worth the drive to get quality care for my furbabies. I've been appalled by what pass for acceptable care in other veterinarian offices. I feel very secure and confident with the caring, knowledgeable, compassionate care my dogs have received.
