My daughter LOVES her teachers (ballet and modern) much happier there than I was at Scarsdale. Last year was our first recital, lots of fun and well organized. Better facilty than our previous experience, teachers are kid friendly and I can watch my child in the waiting room without distracting her.

My daughter has been dancing at Studio B Dance Center for the past 4 years and is loving it! Her teachers have been really supportive and encouraging. After working with her teachers at the studio she auditioned and was accepted into her high school's dance program and also just got pointe shoes.They put on a great recital. I've been to my neices shows in new jersey and long island and the shows run over 3 hours. Their show was really short and fun, and both my 7 yr old son and 73 yr old mother enjoyed the music.

Unfortunately it's been a very unpleasant and disappointing experience for us. My daughter is 6 and she is taking ballet/modern. I haven't seen a progress. The teacher was good at the beginning but she quit. The new teacher somehow can't get them to focus. They over charge for everything. Recital costumes are incredibly expensive. They even charge $16 per person to watch your child perform for 4 minutes. It is outrageous. Not worth it at all. I will not send my daughter there next year.
