Sterling Intermediate School offers education to students in grade five through seven. Its academic curriculum includes language arts, reading, mathematics, science, social studies, health, music and physical education. The school also offers exploratory courses in computers, woodshop, Spanish culture and library skills. Additionally, it provides various opportunities for visual and performing art performances that include drama, band, chorus, and strings ensemble. Sterling Intermediate School also provides a range of sport activities that include basketball, wrestling, volleyball, cross country, and track and field. The school has an enrollment of more than 600 students and provides services through a staff of teachers, paraprofessionals, custodians, counselors and administrators. The school is a part of the Eastmont School District 206 and is located in East Wenatchee, Wash.
