  Kara Kvilekval, MD FACS is a founding partner of Vascular Associates along with Michael Petersen, MD. Dr. Kvilekval is board certified in vascular surgery and general surgery.
• Wound Care
  Dr. Michael Petersen serves as an active member of the American Medical Association, Fellow of American College of Surgeons(F.A.C.S.), Society for Vascular Surgery(S.V.S.), Eastern Vascular Society(E.V.S.), Wound Healing Society(W.H.S.), Medical Society of the State of New York, Association for Academic Surgery, Suffolk County Medical Society. He also serves as medical director of the JT Mather Wound Care Center.
