- Primary CareSome plans allow self-referral for a Comprehensive Annual Evaluation. Many plans do require authorization by your primary care physician for emergencies and special testing. If your insurance plan is not listed here, please call us for more information...
- Emergency CareEye infections, styes, itchy, runny, red, watery eyes and the like are truly eye problems that fall within realm of your eye doctor’s services. We are best educated and equipped to accurately diagnose and treat these common eye problems. It is for this reason that we encourage you, whenever possible, to consult with us, rather than an emergency room or your primary care physician. We do realize and recognize that many health plans require the general practitioner (GP) to be the “gate keeper”. Many times simply a call into you family doctor, explaining the nature of your dilemma and stating that you wish to see your eye care specialist is all that is necessary.
- GlaucomaIt is a good time to start healthy habits and move your new Year’s resolutions forward! For example don't put off New glasses, contact lenses or that long overdue Dilation or Glaucoma Exam.
- Macular DegenerationOur doctors are firm believers in the importance of Omega-3, vitamin supplements and nutrition in protecting your eyesight. Omega-3 supplementation is critical in the management of Dry Eye Syndrome and Macular Degeneration. OmegaQuant was developed to assess the amount of protective Omega-3 each person has in their body. The higher the level of Omega-3, the higher the body’s protection from cardiovascular disease. To be sure you are getting enough Omega-3 in your diet with Nordic Naturals Pro-Omega, you can periodically be measured for their Omega levels in the office.
- Laser Eye SurgeryWe generally encourage patients to explore all options when considering refractive surgery. Our doctors have managed many patients who have undergone Lasik, PRK, Intacs, RK, and Corneal Reshaping Technology. If you are over age 20, have a stable prescription, are in good health, you may be a candidate for Refractive Surgery. We are technologically equipped to provide the pre and post operative care for each of these conditions. During your evaluation we can discuss expected visual outcomes and the reasonableness of each procedure for your unique visual and eye health needs.
- CataractsOur wellness evaluation includes Digital Retinal Photography, a Corneal Topography and threshold Visual Field studies. We also feature the GDX Nerve Fiber Analyzer by Laser Diagnostics—the leading test in the world for glaucoma. Cataract care consultation is “in-house” with many options including multi focal implant lenses.
- Cataract SurgeryThe Corneal Topography is a non-invasive imaging technique that provides the doctor with a detailed description of various curvature and shape characteristics of the cornea. This information is very helpful for the illustration of corneal astigmatism, detection of corneal pathologies such as Keratoconus, the planning of LASIK or cataract surgery or in post-op care, and perfection of contact lens fitting. The Corneal Topography is state of the art care for our contact lens patients.

- Physical TherapyUnlike eyeglasses and contact lenses, which simply compensate for vision problems, or eye surgery that alters the anatomy of the eye or surrounding muscles, vision therapy aims to "teach" the visual system to correct itself. Vision therapy is like physical therapy for the visual system, including the eyes and the parts of the brain that control vision.
