Mental Health Association of Essex County offers a range of care and support services to individuals with mental illness . The association provides advocacy, education, prevention, intervention and treatment services. It maintains a family resource center and center for prevention and youth development, as well as provides integrated case management and supported employment services. The association also provides school-based counseling, collaborative justice, and case and care management services. Its Stepping Up project is a transitional program for the youth. Additionally, the association offers a variety of employment services through its easy program project. It organizes several informational programs on mental health, as well as hosts various fundraising events. Headquartered in Montclair, N.J., Mental Health Association of Essex County maintains a location in East Orange, N.J.
