Flavor King Ice Cream has been family owned and was started in 1961. Started by Robert 'Doc' Powers over 40 years ago, FlavorKing Ice Cream has been serving Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts and New York. FlavorKing is owned and managed by Mike Powers who has become a staple in Southeastern Connecticut catering service. Today FlavorKing has a fleet of over ten vending trucks and several antique good humor trucks all in service and completely restored.
